Collaborative Workshop in Theatre & Dance

Fridays 9:10am-noon

3 credits


Collaborative Workshop in Theatre & Dance is a studio, seminar and hybrid course that will challenge you to work from your strengths and to expand into new areas of possibility. We will watch videos, read and discuss ideas about what performance and the collaborative process can be, engage in a variety  of practical experiments, and create culminating performance projects.


This course is perfect for students majoring in Dance, Drama, Education, English, Music, Psychology, Sociology and Visual Arts; as well as anyone interested in the collaborative process and interdisciplinary work.


DRAMA 381/DANCE 381 fulfills the College Option Synthesis (SYN) requirement at Queens College, and can be taken for Drama Major or Dance Major elective credits.
