Program Description:
The Innovation Challenge provides teams with a real world, hands-on learning experience on how to successfully transfer ideas into products and services that benefit society.

Most of the two weeks will be spent outside the building, where hopeful entrepreneurs will learn how to talk to potential customers, partners and competitors; experiencing the chaos and uncertainty of starting your own business!

* Students and faculty members with a business idea or technology (STEM teams will be given priority)

Why should I apply?

* Learn the core concepts of Customer Discovery, the Lean Launchpad Methodology, and Agile Development
* Conduct interviews with potential customers, partners, and competitors
* Be guided through ongoing faculty support and mentorship
* Become eligible for future CUNY I-Corps, NSF I-Corps and NYC Innovation Hot Spot programs
* Receive the chance to present and request up to $1,000 in funding to continue customer discovery and business model development
