Sharing, The attached registration schedule was sent to the Divisional Deans and the Office of the Provost for their review. Please note that the dates indicated are start dates and student enrollment continues until the beginning of each semester/session. In addition, you recently received an email from Joyce Kong regarding the scheduling period for Winter/Spring 2015 (Sept 29th - Fri, Oct 10th ). As your schedules are being created, please review the setup of functions such as instructor assignment access, waitlist limits, and class permissions. Set correctly, this will reduce the number of issues both departments and students face during the registration and grading period. If you need any assistance in reviewing the setup please let us know. The Registrar's Office plans to term activate (rollover) the Winter and Spring terms and begin assigning enrollment appointments today. Our goal is to allow students the opportunity to plan their schedules several weeks prior to the beginning of registration. You will soon see the Spring 15 semester indicated on students records. (winter is part of spring so there is no separate winter session indicated) In addition, I have attached the campus contingency plan. This plan was created by the Enrollment Management team with detailed instructions for faculty and staff in the event that CUNYfirst is unavailable during the registration period.
