From the Office of Human Resources:
CUNY has recently shared guidance regarding remote work for staff for Spring 2023. Please take note of the following points: ยท Staff members are required to work 70% of the time in person/on site as has been in place for the past two semesters. ยท College presidents/deans and vice presidents or designees, in consultation with their presidents/deans, continue to have the discretion to require a higher percentage of on-site work if necessary to meet operational or academic needs. ยท Remote work arrangements should be set out using the remote work form: Remote Work Agreement (cuny.edu)<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__nam02.safelinks.protect... >. Use of this form has been extended through June 30, 2023, based upon agreement with the PSC and DC 37. ยท CUNYโs updated flexible work guidelines are here: CUNY Flexible Work Arrangements โ The City University of New York<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__nam02.safelinks.protect... >. ยท Public Safety staff and other essential employees will continue to work fully in person. ยท Employees who have concerns about returning to onsite work due to disability, pregnancy/childbirth, or other reasons covered by CUNYโs Reasonable Accommodations and Academic Adjustment Policy<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__nam02.safelinks.protect... > should follow CUNYโs procedures for requesting a reasonable accommodation. Employees who are interested in requesting an accommodation or an extension of their current accommodation should email me at lee.kelly@qc.cuny.edu<mailto:lee.kelly@qc.cuny.edu>. โ [https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__files.constantcontact.c... ] This mail was sent by an automated process.
