CUNY has recently shared guidance regarding remote work for staff for Spring 2023. Please take note of the following points:
·
Staff members are required to work 70% of the time in person/on site as has been in place for the past two semesters.
·
College presidents/deans and vice presidents or designees, in consultation with their presidents/deans, continue to have the discretion to require a
higher percentage of on-site work if necessary to meet operational or academic needs.
·
Remote work arrangements should be set out using the remote work form:
Remote Work Agreement (cuny.edu). Use of this form has been extended through June 30, 2023, based upon agreement with the PSC and DC 37.
·
CUNY’s updated flexible work guidelines are here:
CUNY Flexible Work Arrangements – The City University of New York.
·
Public Safety staff and other essential employees will continue to work fully in person.
·
Employees who have concerns about returning to onsite work due to disability, pregnancy/childbirth, or other reasons covered by CUNY’s
Reasonable Accommodations and Academic Adjustment Policy should follow CUNY’s procedures for requesting a reasonable accommodation.
Employees who are interested in requesting an accommodation or an extension of their current accommodation should email me at
