Clinical RD Position - LTC
Seeking a *Registered Dietitian* to come join the NYC Health + Hospitals system team on Staten Island for a Full Time or Part Time opportunity. *The successful candidate will:* - Provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients within the various post-acute/LTC facilities. - Complete quality assurance and performance improvement projects; - Have a passion for driving and improving the resident experience; - Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards; - Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences; - Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and - Support the food service operation as needed. * Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:* - Registered Dietitian credentials with New York State CDN certification; - Experience in the skilled nursing/LTC/post-acute setting preferred; - Experience with MDS, Electronic Medical Records & CBORD computer system (preferred, not required); - Strong verbal and written communication skills; - Strong leadership skills; - The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and - Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our residents.
