Seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join the NYC Health + Hospitals system team on Staten Island for a Full Time or Part Time opportunity.

The successful candidate will:

Provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients within the various post-acute/LTC facilities.
Complete quality assurance and performance improvement projects;
Have a passion for driving and improving the resident experience;
Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and
Support the food service operation as needed.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

Registered Dietitian credentials with New York State CDN certification;
Experience in the skilled nursing/LTC/post-acute setting preferred;
Experience with MDS, Electronic Medical Records & CBORD computer system (preferred, not required);
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Strong leadership skills;
The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and
Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our residents.
