Hi Club Members,
This is a reminder that this week's meeting will be held on Wednesday,
October 6th at 12:15 instead of our usual Monday meeting. On Monday,
October 4th at 12:15 Dr.Fischer will be hosting a DICAS prep meeting for
Juniors and Seniors.
Our meeting this week will be hosted by Janet Grommet and she will be
discussing how to build a professional resume!
Janet Kolmer Grommet PhD, RDN is a clinical nutritionist with research
interests in the effectiveness of nutritional management of chronic
diseases, particularly chronic kidney disease and diabetes. Her teaching
responsibilities have focused on clinical nutrition, nutrition counseling,
and research methods. She is the former chair of the Dept of Health and
Nutrition Sciences at Brooklyn College and is currently an adjunct
professor of nutrition at Hunter College. She has worked with dozens of
students over the years in preparing professional resumes.
