[History undergraduates] Upcoming Event: 1984 Movie Screening & Discussion
Dear History majors and MA students, The *History Club* is organizing a screening of *Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984)*, the British dystopian drama film based on George Orwell's novel. Please join the Club: *Thursday, March 30th, * *4:30 PM - 7:00 PM* *Powdermaker Hall Room 153* *There will be free pizza!* The event is co-sponsored with the QC *Political Science Club*, and will also feature QC History Department's very own *Professor Lawrence Cappello*, who will host an engaging discussion after the screening. Prof. Cappello is a lecturer of United States history at CUNY Queens College, a quantitative research director at the CUNY Graduate Center, and his work centers on the social, political, and cultural history of privacy in the United States.
