Dear History majors and MA students,

The History Club is organizing a screening of Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984), the British dystopian drama film based on George Orwell's novel.

Please join the Club:
Thursday, March 30th
4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Powdermaker Hall Room 153

There will be free pizza!

The event is co-sponsored with the QC Political Science Club, and will also feature QC History Department's very own Professor Lawrence Cappello, who will host an engaging discussion after the screening. Prof. Cappello is a lecturer of United States history at CUNY Queens College, a quantitative research director at the CUNY Graduate Center, and his work centers on the social, political, and cultural history of privacy in the United States.

Everybody is welcome!

All best,
Prof. Bregoli
