Hi Claudia and all, If it helps to simply the checklist, I am completely fine with the running head included on the title page. Better to not have exceptions to the rule. In anticipation of the inclusion of our program's goals into individual syllabi matched to the course's student learning outcomes, which we agreed to in full faculty meeting, Drs. Cool and Alexander are working on a template to facilitate general compliance in the form and arrangement of all syllabi which will be forthcoming shortly. (Content of what is taught is still within the discretion of the faculty member, with the proviso that there has to be continuity among core courses.) At the same meeting yesterday where a group of us swapped syllabi to discuss this, it was decided to suggest that the attached checklist be included in the template as an optional inclusion for faculty on their individual syllabi. Before it is included, however, as its originator, I wanted to see if anyone wanted any particular annoyance added.

Dear Lauren et al., Thanks so much for your valuable ideas! I believe I may have created the inappropriate impression that the checklist is required and not OPTIONAL. So actually, it presumably could be adapted for use in every course as needed. I have been on sabbatical this year and was not at the meeting at which this was discussed, so unfortunately I got my signals scrambled. So sorry about that!
