This listserv is for adjuncts who teach at the Graduate School of Library & Information Studies [GSLIS]. It is intended to accomplish three objectives. The first is to keep you abreast of the many developments at the GSLIS that have a direct effect on your teaching. Mailings such as cancellation of classes because of bad weather, scheduled meetings and reminders about attendance/final grade reports. The second objective is to provide advice concerning your teaching at the GSLIS such as grade inflation, new hardware/software and the occasional problem student. The third objective, and certainly not the least important, is to provide you with an opportunity to ask questions and discuss your concerns. These will quite likely run the gamut from simple questions regarding college policy to more thorny issues such as plagiarism, cheating on an exam and improper classroom behavior. To post a message to all the list members, send email to gslisadjuncts@lists.qc.cuny.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
