Dear Colleagues: In anticipation of the inclusion of our program's goals into individual syllabi matched to the course's student learning outcomes, which we agreed to in full faculty meeting, Drs. Cool and Alexander are working on a template to facilitate general compliance in the form and arrangement of all syllabi which will be forthcoming shortly. (Content of what is taught is still within the discretion of the faculty member, with the proviso that there has to be continuity among core courses.) At the same meeting yesterday where a group of us swapped syllabi to discuss this, it was decided to suggest that the attached checklist be included in the template as an optional inclusion for faculty on their individual syllabi. Before it is included, however, as its originator, I wanted to see if anyone wanted any particular annoyance added. All comments welcome. Thanks, Mary K. Chelton
