Please substitute this version for the prior attachment. Just a minor change qualifying the GSLIS Program Objectives as Student Learning Outcomes.
Many thanks!

Dear colleagues,
Prompted by an inquiry from Liz Basileo, and at Colleen's request, please find attached a subset of my 757 syllabus that incorporates two important changes adopted by the faculty in the Spring semester.
In order to more closely parallel the ALA Core competencies, we slightly revised some of the verbiage in the Student Learning Outcomes, removed the old outcome G, added a new outcome in its place, and slightly reordered the outcomes (to correspond to the numbering of the Core competencies).
Consequently, G and H have now switched positions, and the new G reflects an emphasis on management and leadership that was previously missing.
In addition, since we are required to include the exact wording of the Bulletin Description, we have renamed the "Course Description" and "Bulletin Description" to reduce confusion.
The latter (Bulletin Description) should be exactly as listed on the GSLIS web site, and the "Course Description" can reflect additional information which you may have added to further expand on the current emphasis of the course.
Please don't worry about these changes for the summer session, but incorporate them into your syllabi for fall, if you have not already done so.
Many thanks and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Claudia
