Hello colleagues! I asked to be added to the adjuncts list so that I could share our curriculum committee meeting minutes, since often they apply to adjuncts as well as full time faculty. You'll notice in the attached that we are asking everybody to use the department adopted APL Style Manual, 6th edition, prominently in syllabi and to have any citations on syllabi conform to that style. We were criticized for inconsistency on our syllabi by the ALA Committee on Accreditation External Review Panel, and it is possibly one of the easiest things to fix. Regarding that report, we have returned corrected errors of fact to COA and await a final corrected report, at which time, I assume it will be distributed to all our stakeholders. I will start sending announcements of meetings that you are welcome to attend and/or to which you may want to provide input, comments, etc. If anyone is interested (masochistic) enough to want to see prior minutes, please let me know.
