Hello everyone! Last fall, Special Collections and Archives had the great fortune to work with the theatre company What Will the Neighbors Say?<https://www.wwtns.org/> on a moving collaborative archives project—creating verbatim play Queering the Archives<https://www.theknightnews.com/2023/12/05/queering-the-archives-a-celebration-of-30-years-of-lgbtq-history-at-queens-college/> from archival materials<https://www.jstor.org/site/queenscollegearchives/glasa-journals/> in QC's own LGBTQIA+ collections. Now, we couldn't be more thrilled to announce that the Neighbors will host an encore reading of the play at a fundraiser party to benefit QC Special Collections and Archives and the Queens Memory Project. It will be a Pride celebration of queer Queens and CUNY history! We'd love it if you would join us for the reading, plus drinks, dancing, and a real fun time! Details are below and in the attached flyer: Event: Queering the Archives benefit fundraiser party Date: Tuesday, June 25 Time: 7:00 PM Location: Culture Lab LIC<https://www.culturelablic.org/> Tickets: $20 (you can purchase through the Neighbors website<https://www.wwtns.org/current-shows.html>!) We'd love to see you there! Let me know if you have any questions, and thank you! 🙂 🌈 Caitlin Caitlin Colban-Waldron | she, her Archivist, Queens College Special Collections and Archives<https://library.qc.cuny.edu/archives/> caitlin.waldron@qc.cuny.edu | 718-997-3652 Digital collections<https://www.jstor.org/site/queenscollegearchives/> | @QueensCollegeArchives<https://www.instagram.com/queenscollegearchives/>
