Hello everyone!

Last fall, Special Collections and Archives had the great fortune to work with the theatre company What Will the Neighbors Say? on a moving collaborative archives project—creating verbatim play Queering the Archives from archival materials in QC's own LGBTQIA+ collections.

Now, we couldn't be more thrilled to announce that the Neighbors will host an encore reading of the play at a fundraiser party to benefit QC Special Collections and Archives and the Queens Memory Project. It will be a Pride celebration of queer Queens and CUNY history!

We'd love it if you would join us for the reading, plus drinks, dancing, and a real fun time! Details are below and in the attached flyer:

Event: Queering the Archives benefit fundraiser party
Date: Tuesday, June 25
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Culture Lab LIC
Tickets: $20 (you can purchase through the Neighbors website!)

We'd love to see you there! Let me know if you have any questions, and thank you! 🙂 🌈
