There is a new Economics course being offered in the Spring, 2015 semester. “Business Strategy” - will integrate economics business subject matter. Business Strategy will be opened for juniors or seniors who major or minor in the Accounting, Economics or Finance, BBA students, students in BALA and members of the New Professionals Program. Len Schutzman, a retired senior executive at PepsiCo and executive Professor of Business Administration at the Simon Business School of the University of Rochester, NY., designed the course. He will team teach the course with Queens College Professor, Steve. Solieri, CPA. The course will greatly benefit students considering careers in investment banking, securities research, consulting and corporate planning. To provide maximum interaction, the class size will be limited to 24 students. In this course: · Students will learn about several key industries and companies
· Students will receive a valuable framework to develop and analyze companies and strategies
· Students will gain research tools for effective financial and business analysis.
