Dear Senior Accounting Majors: I have a limited number of seats available in various Accounting graduate courses for the Fall semester. If you are graduating this upcoming Fall semester and intend to continue on to one of our two graduate programs, here is an opportunity for you to take one or more graduate courses as an undergraduate. Here are the qualifications: 1. You must be a senior and scheduled to graduate this upcoming Fall semester. 2. Your overall GPA must be 3.2+. 3. You must intend to continue on to the MS in Accounting or MS in Taxation program. 4. You must be taking no more than three or four undergraduate courses this fall semester. 5. You must earn a minimum grade of B- for the courses to be transferred to the graduate program. 6. You cannot use these courses for both your undergraduate degree and masters degree unless you are a Second BA student. If you qualify and are interested, please respond to this email. Include your CUNYFirst ID number and your phone number so I can call you. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to get a head start on obtaining your Masters degree. Dear Graduating Seniors: The Fast Track deadline has passed, but you still have the ability to join either our MS in Accounting or the new MS in Taxation program. If your cumulative GPA is 3.0+, simply file a no fee application with Graduate Admissions. You are exempt from the GMAT, reference letters and personal essay. The application deadline has now been extended through June 1. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your career opportunities, and get educationally qualified for your CPA license. If your GPA is under 3.0, you can still join either program as a non-matriculated student. You can take one course per semester for up to four consecutive semesters, before you must matriculate. You can matriculate by either passing all four parts of the CPA exam, or in the alternative, by taking the GMAT exam and scoring not less 750 less your three digit GPA. For example, if your GPA is 2.75, you required minimum GMAT score would be 475. We look forward to you joining one of our excellent graduate programs. All the best. Dear Graduating Seniors: If you have received a FastTrack invitation to one of our two graduate programs, the deadline for you to accept is quickly approaching. Wednesday, April 13 is the deadline for you to accept or defer for one semester. Do not let this opportunity pass you by. Because of your excellent academic record, we are exempting you from the GMAT, reference letters, and personal essay. You don't even have to file an application, just accept the invitation. Studies have shown that graduates from our masters program earn substantially more than our undergraduates without a masters degree. More and more employers are requiring a masters degree for employment and/or promotion. There is no better way to become educationally qualified for your CPA license, than having a graduate degree. We look forward to you joining one of our two available programs, namely the Masters of Science in Accounting, or the brand new Masters in Taxation. A reminder to summer graduates.
