Our students’ beliefs about themselves as learners profoundly affect their ability to learn. Through crafting supportive messaging and creating supportive learning environments, instructors can change their students’ learning mindsets over time, which contributes to greater student success.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 18th from 12:15-1:30 pm in Kiely Hall 258 for an introduction to learning mindsets, led by CUNY Mindset Ambassador Seth Lehman. You will apply the framework of Mindset GPS (Growth Mindset, Purpose and Relevance, Sense of Belonging) to your instructional practices and leave with specific ideas for communicating healthy learning mindsets in your teaching.
