[Socrates] Global Scholars Achieving Career Success (GSACS) Information Session, Tuesday, April 20/Call for Applications

On behalf of the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) at Queens College and the Global Scholars Achieving Career Success (GSACS) 

Queens College has been awarded a grant for a virtual exchange project, Global Scholars Achieving Career Success (GSACS), from the Stevens Initiative which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, with funding provided by the U.S. Government, and is administered by the Aspen Institute. GSACS connects students from the five CUNY colleges and university students in Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco. During this two-year project, students will work together on experiential learning projects that explore UN Sustainable Development Goals within their local and international communities as well as engage in career development. 
GSACS will host an information session for all  faculty interested in the GSACS virtual exchange project on

**Call for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 Courses**
 
All faculty across disciplines are invited to apply to facilitate GSACS modules in their courses. Courses may be existing courses that are modified for this project or new courses approved for Fall 2021 or Spring 2022. Selected faculty and their international partners will receive rigorous professional development in virtual exchange and experiential learning pedagogy in Summer 2021 before implementing GSACS in their credit-bearing courses for Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.

Compensation:
GSACS Faculty Facilitators will receive a stipend of $1,000 per course where GSACS is implemented and a certificate.
