Benjamin S. Rosenthal Library, room 300i

In this hands-on workshop, Amy Wolfe, the Accessibility Librarian for the CUNY Office of Library Services, will show us how to make accessible course materials and check course sites for accessibility.

1. Beforehand: Each person should create a blank WordPress site they can play with during the training. It just needs to be the shell, no content needs to be added beforehand. Leila Walker will hold open hours for WordPress introductions Tuesday, February 26, 12:30-1:30pm, and Wednesday, February 27, 11am-noon, both in Benjamin S. Rosenthal Library room 223, if you need help setting up a site. Please bring your own laptop.

2. Bring: An electronic word version of a syllabus they've gotten from a professor or they've created.

3. Bring: Electronic copy of at least one image.

4. Bring: URL to one image

5. Bring: Electronic copy of a pdf article they've gotten from a professor to add to a class.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, but a limited number of loaners will be available for those without.
