[Socrates] Opening Reception: Uncertain Alphabet

Dear Colleagues,

Please join the Art Center in welcoming Greek artist, Yorgos Giotsas, to Queens College, with an opening reception celebrating his solo exhibition, Yorgos Giotsas: Uncertain Alphabet.  Uncertain Alphabet considers the potentially isolating effects of modern communication methods through Giotsas' new sculptural collages on paper, which represent a new direction within the artist's body of work.  As the second half of an ongoing partnership between Giotsas and the Art Center, begun with the series' debut<https://www.qcartcenter.org/copy-of-supply-demand> at Paris' Galerie Desmos in 2017, Uncertain Alphabet at QC continues to build an active and constructive response to the issues raised in Giotsas' work.
