ACADEMIC RESOURCE CENTER COORDINATOR POSITION OPEN

THE CENTER FOR ETHNIC, RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS UNDERSTANDING

QUEENS COLLEGE CUNY



The Center for Ethnic, Racial and Religious Understanding (CERRU) is a dialogue based diversity education and training center located on the Queens College Campus. We are looking for a new coordinator for our two fellowship programs; the dialogue fellowship and the social change fellowship.



Specific Duties Include:



  *   Coordinating all aspects of two student fellowship programs, including application process, scheduling, maintaining relationships and supporting students.
  *   Working with the CERRU staff to design and implement all student trainings.
  *   Acting as point person for CERRU training on other college campuses.
  *   Working with CERRU staff on targeted research and preparation of reports and surveys.
  *   Acting as a liaison to various student groups on campus.





Preferred Qualifications Include:



  *   Experience in campus and community outreach/organizing
  *   Excellent writing and communication skills
  *   Creative, motivated self-starter
  *   Critical thinking and problem solving skills





A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position. Candidate must have 1-2 years relevant experience in conflict resolution, dialogue methods and/or methods for working to achieve diversity and inclusion.
