Greetings everyone:

The deadline to submit a proposal for this year¹s CUE Conference is March
21. Details below:

CALL FOR PROPOSALS: http://cuny.is/cue

The process of implementation and the cycle of assessment help educators
and professionals respond to the needs of students and co-workers around
them. On May 13, 2016, Hostos Community College will host the 12th Annual
Coordinated Undergraduate Education (CUE) conference, "Walk the Talk:
Inspiring Action on the Concourse and Beyond."

"Walk the Talk" is about showcasing action, articulating outcomes with
evidence based results, and engaging in continuous improvement. Successful
proposals will highlight how individuals and/or teams journey through
trial and error to reach a best practice. Presentations and interactions
will emphasize provable outcomes. Presenters and facilitators are
encouraged to include students in leadership roles as part of their
proposal to present. Walk the Talk is for pro-active and reflective
practitioners who are committed to improving and enhancing learning
outcomes and learning spaces on campuses across CUNY.

Presentations are scheduled for 50 minutes. Implementation sessions should
allow ample time for participants to engage in hands-on, application,
activities; 20/20 sessions will be paired by the CUE Presentation
Selection Committee; flipped roundtables will attempt to confirm
participants' one-week in advance of the presentation date.

The online proposal form will ask for a primary contact name and
presentation title. All speakers should be listed. Each presentation
should choose one themed track (i.e. Influencing Action, Lunch with
Students, Freestyle) and a presentation style (i.e., poster,
implementation, flipped roundtable). Note that Lunch with Students is
strictly a roundtable conversation. The proposal abstract and
description should have a maximum of 300 words.

* Planning For and Taking Action
