Entrepreneurship is a skill that everyone needs to relearn to thrive in the 21st century economy. With the average person now having more than five career and job changes in their work life it is necessary to understand how businesses are created and how to build an economic life that is rewarding. The best way to learn business is by doing it therefore in our talk we will discuss where do entrepreneurial business concepts come from and how do entrepreneurs structure and articulate those ideas concisely to test whether they may have a receptive market.

Ray Garcia is the managing director of Buoyant Capital, a global peer advisory think tank addressing the growth challenges of small to medium sized enterprises. Ray has over 20 years of experience as a technology entrepreneur, as company CTO co-founder, for four venture-backed companies. Earlier in his career, he worked as an executive for major banks including, Citicorp, Republic National Bank (now HSBC), Bank of America, and as a technology consultant to several large US multi-national corporations.
