Mid-summer greetings, colleagues!

Here is advanced notice of an announcement about a wonderful opportunity. We will also disseminate this via QC Mailer in the next few days. Please help us spread the word, and if you're interested, apply: the deadline is September 4.

The Center for Teaching & Learning is pleased to announce this year's Quantitative Reasoning Across the Curriculum Faculty Development Workshop. The program is designed to infuse quantitative reasoning skills throughout the curriculum, and participation in the workshop involves activities and support during the fall 2015 and spring 2016 semesters.

Faculty who participate will receive an $800 stipend. The program includes three hands-on workshops (September 18, October 9 and January 21) and some online work. Participants will be supported by a QR Fellow (PhD student from the CUNY Graduate Center).

Faculty from all departments are invited to apply: the workshop will expose you to innovative approaches for integrating quantitative reasoning across the curriculum, beyond designated QR courses.

(Application deadline: September 4, 2015)

If you have questions, please contact Professor Joanne Miller (Sociology), the Coordinator of the QR Fellows Program (joanne.miller at qc.cuny.edu<mailto:joanne.miller at qc.cuny.edu>).

Best wishes,
Eva
