Dear faculty, staff, and students,

Please join us on February 19th for this exciting Year of South Africa event featuring Dr. Prins Nevhutalu, the Vice Chancellor of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, in Cape Town, South Africa. He will tell us about his experiences in higher education there since 1994, as he and his colleagues navigated the changes and challenges in education and society that arose after the end of apartheid. It should be an important and thought-provoking talk.

Before the lecture, the Queens College Women's Choir, conducted by Dr. Sandra Babb and H. Roz Woll, will perform several songs from South Africa, in several of the local languages including Xhosa, Zulu, and Afrikanns. They are amazing!

Thursday. February 19, 2015. 4:00-6:00pm. The Flex Space, at the Summit. Queens College.
