On Saturday, November 8, the City University of New York's Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment will co-sponsor a conference on best practices in reading/writing instruction: "(Inter)Disciplinary Discourses: Writing Across the Curriculum Today."

The conference flyer and program are attached.  Please share with colleagues for whom the conference might be of interest.

The conference will be held at LaGuardia Community College, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Registration is free of charge, and breakfast and lunch will be served. To register, please send your name, department, and college affiliation to marilyn.maiz at cuny.edu<mailto:marilyn.maiz at cuny.edu>.
