Finals are just around the corner;  why not get a jump on things early? Come spend an afternoon with your colleagues developing assessment tools for your final class project or you final exam.


This 3 hour professional development workshop is intended for review strategies for creating effective assessment. We will discuss aligning your assessments with your learning goals.  Developing effective multiple choice questions and RUBRICS, as well as deploying these tools in Blackboard, will be covered.


Please bring along any material you may need to develop assessments for your class during the workshop. A working Blackboard account is strongly suggested. Computers are available in the lab, but you are welcome to bring your own laptop.
