[Socrates] NYNY Fellows Program liaison

Regarding the NYNY Fellows Program in an email circulated yesterday (copy below):  Mark Klein (mark.klein at qc.cuny.edu), Office of Career Development & Internships, is QC's campus liaison for the program, and will help students with their application by reviewing their essays and preparing them for their interview.

Colleagues:

A new intensive program for high-achieving low-income first-generation college students has just been announced, and you may want to encourage some of your students to apply.  The NYNY Fellows Program (http://www.newyorkneedsyou.org/program) offers participants career development workshops, access to internships, and professional development grants, as well as mentoring by a dedicated coach.   

Eligibility and application information are available at http://www.newyorkneedsyou.org/apply.  The application and recommendations are due February 20.
