Featuring animation and visuals by Warren Lehrer and Brandon Campbell, as well as spoken word in multiple languages, this symphony showcases the unique attributes of the borough of Queens.

Using stories and ideas from her book Crossing the Boulevard: Strangers, Neighbors, Aliens in a New America, 1001 Voices tells the stories of each of us - whether we immigrated from abroad, or another state, fleeing for justice or moving for adventure.

A wonderful way to highlight discussions about the immigrant experience, diversity, ethnicity, identity and art...
