Forwarded Message:

Dear Colleagues,

Good afternoon At the request of Lucinda Zoe, Senior University Dean & Vice Provost for Academic Programs & Policy, I forward to you the following. Please direct all questions to your campus liaison, linked below.

As you know, the Credit/No Credit Flexible Grading Policy was implemented in order to allow our students the opportunity to optimize their assessment options for the disrupted spring semester. Please understand that all students have the ability to opt in to utilize this policy for any and all of their CUNY courses. It is obligatory that all faculty adhere to this new grading policy.

Please be aware that our students are directed to partake in a rigorous advisement process regarding the new grading policy; therefore, they will be making an informed decision when choosing whether to opt in or not.

It is strongly suggested you familiarize yourself with the policy<https://www.cuny.edu/coronavirus/credit-no-credit-policy/faq/> and read over the FAQs<https://www.cuny.edu/coronavirus/credit-no-credit-policy/faq/>, which are updated frequently and posted on the CUNY Coronavirus Update site<https://www.cuny.edu/coronavirus/>. Targeted student and faculty information guides with top takeaways for each are also provided on the Credit/No Credit Policy page<https://www.cuny.edu/coronavirus/credit-no-credit-policy/>. If you have further question about the policy, you are encouraged to contact your college's designated Flexible Grading Policy Campus Liaison; a directory of the campus liaisons is available at this link<https://www.cuny.edu/coronavirus/credit-no-credit-policy/campus-contact/> for your convenience.

As always, we thank you for your perseverance, flexibility, and commitment to your students' academic success during this challenging time.

Best regards,

Simone
