I hope this message finds you well.  Can you please forward the message below to your department listserv to encourage voting, which ends on Saturday, April 4, 2020.


Additionally, Please notify your department Chairs that Department Representatives must be submitted to the Senate prior to the May 14, 2020 meeting. Submit to Brenda.Salas at qc.cuny.edu.


Queens College Faculty Elections are now open.
Election week runs from 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 29, 2020 - 11:59 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2020. I encourage you to participate in campus governance by both running and voting in these elections.
All faculty members are encouraged to become involved in the very important work of campus governance by running for a position on the Academic Senate or the Faculty/Student Disciplinary Committee (FSDC). The Senate and the FSDC play critical roles in the formulation of policy relating to the admission and retention of students, curriculum, granting of degrees, and campus life.
*Please note that both full-time and adjunct faculty may run for the FSDC, however, you must run as a write-in for the FSDC position.
