[UrbanStudiesCircular] Urban/Environmental Studies Service Learning Internship Poster Session!
Students, faculty, staff, and community partners are all invited to view students' service learning projects and to learn about the wide variety of internships held by Urban and Environmental Studies graduating seniors (A list of internship partners can be found below) When: Wednesday, May 17th, 12:15 - 1:30 P.M. Where: Science Building Atrium (lower level), Queens College Refreshments will be served! Sponsored by the Horace and Amy Hagedorn Foundation, Urban/Environmental Studies service learning internships are designed to combine career development opportunities with in-depth learning. Interns work with public service agencies in urban or environmental fields, while also attending a seminar that links their field experiences to urban and environmental scholarship. Internships include a stipend to offset travel/transportation expenses and any reduction in part time work hours.
