Join Queens College and local community groups engaged in civic leadership and community activism activities at QC's first Civic Leadership and Community Activism Expo: Date: October 11, 2018 Time: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Location: Cooperman Plaza and Rosenthal Library (3rd Floor) The groups that will be showcased offer students opportunities and incentives for getting involved in community activities. You will learn about ways to meet service or leadership requirements for QC degree programs, and will have the opportunity to network with students, faculty, and staff who are involved in community-based organizations, leadership and service councils and foundations, service-oriented clubs, and more. Light refreshment will be provided. The event will include presentations from: + QC Participatory Budgeting + CUNY Service Corps at QC + NYPIRG + Generation Citizen + NYC Service Office of the Mayor + Department of City Planning + Center for Ethnic, Racial, and Religious Understanding and more!
