The Seminar is is organized by the Center of Byzantine & Modern Greek Studies & is under the auspices of the Onassis Foundation. While the Greek crisis has been a major topic in US media, little has been said on austerity's impact on Greek education. Accordingly, a prominent Greek scholar, Prof. Karabelias, will be the guest speaker at a Seminarto be held during Free Hour-- Monday, October 19th, 12:15pm, PH 333. He will discuss austerity's impact on university education especially.
