One project will be awarded a bonus prize of $200 for its consideration on the social impacts of clean energy. The Transforming our Tomorrow student competition is open to ALL public and private higher ed institutions. Also of note, ALL participating students receive a production-quality TED talk style video of their presentation for their professional portfolio. This is a great opportunity for student interns, students working on capstone projects or theses, student orgs, or independent studies to share their work, with some pretty awesome resume building and cash prize payoffs. Students that have completed a project or program, or have an idea for a new policy or invention, can apply to win a cash prize at the University at Buffalo’s Transforming our Tomorrow: A New Clean Energy Vision. Participants will have five minutes to showcase their work either in teams or individually in front of a panel of judges on UB’s campus in April. Each presentation will be scored by a panel of judges based on: * Creativity * Presentation * Research First place will receive $3000, second place $2000, and third place will receive $1000.
