Most residents retreated indoors and couldn’t see the damage being inflicted. They could, however, follow it all online as Twitter and other channels came alive with images, live maps, and data-driven updates. Join voices from MTA external communications, data journalists, and transportation planners for a discussion about documenting the effects of Superstorm Sandy in real-time and the power of social media as a tool for crisis management and recovery.
