His many books examine various facets of the urban process in capitalist societies. In one of his recent books Rebel Cities: From the Right to the City to the Urban Revolution (2012), Dr. Harvey analyzes the revolutionary potential of cities and how they can bring about more socially just societies. At the seminar, he will speak to the themes of this book and will share his latest thinking about cities.
