**** Accelerated MA in Urban Affairs ****** If you are a sophomore or junior and you are a Urban or Labor Studies major with a 3.0 GPA overall and in URBST classes, you may be eligible to apply to our Accelerated MA in Urban Affairs program. Acceptance to the Accelerated MA program means that you can take up to 12 credits of graduate electives at the undergraduate tuition rate. These graduate electives will count toward your undergraduate major elective requirements AND the MA in Urban Affairs. Upon completion of the 120 credits required for the BA, you will need to complete four required graduate courses and two electives (if you take full advantage of the 12 credits of graduate electives as a undergraduate) which means you can earn two degrees - a BA and a MA - from Queens College. Application to the Accelerated MA requires a short personal statement, two letters of recommendation, and a copy of your transcript. We are also able to offer a small tuition scholarship for one semester, if you are accepted and enroll in our Accelerated MA program in Spring 2019.
