The goal is to help to bridge the gap between theory and practice, and strengthen understanding of how emergency management is actually practiced in NYC. Attached is a flyer with the class dates and times, which you are welcome to distribute to your students and colleagues who may be interested in learning more about emergency management in New York City. Each class is only a single session, and can be taken in any order or separately, and there is no cost associated with participation (however, food and transportation are not provided). To Register: students and faculty can register themselves by clicking the link on the flyer next to the date and time of the session(s) that work best for their schedule. Please note there is a password on the flyer (“spring2018”) that must be entered before registration can be completed. Space is limited, however if you have a large number of students interested in participating who cannot register for any of the sessions, please let us know and we can follow up to discuss additional possibilities. Please contact NYCEMAcademy@oem.nyc.gov<mailto:NYCEMAcademy@oem.nyc.gov> if you have any questions or have any difficulty registering for the classes. Thank you!
