Come learn about the impact of housing-related issues on students' academic success. On Monday, April 30, students in the Urban Studies Service Learning Community Engaged Research class will present preliminary findings from their work on student homelessness and housing insecurity at Queens College. The event will include results from a survey of students taking Urban Studies courses during the Spring 2018 semester, findings on the impact of housing issues on student academic success and information on housing-related resources and support available on campus. We will be joined by Jennifer Jarvis, executive director of student development at Queens College. Food will be served!
