The Health Professions Office at Queens College is a support program for students planning to enter: dental, medical, optometry, pharmacy,, podiatry, or veterinary medical school. Many of our students are invited to interviews as a step in the selection process. So I am seeking members of the campus community to participate in Fall 2016 mock interviews. QC Health Professions Mock Interview Schedule begins Septebmer 7 - December 15 Monday through Thursday from 10am - 12noon or Monday through Thursday from 1pm - 3pm We partner you according to your schedule for one mock interview per month. · Two interviewers are assigned to one student · Background on the student is provided · Background on the interviewing school is provided · Usually mock interview time is 60-90 minutes · One mock interview every 10 days or once per month · No experience required - HPAS Office supplies the questions · You are asked to o Listen to student response o Note student's ability to have an opinion o Note if student is dressed approriately for an interview o Assess if student knows anything about the school where being interviewed · You and the other interviewer will spend about 20 minutes providing constructive criticism o Speaking; tone, audible, one word answers, smile o Body movement o Appropriate attire o inerview school knowledge needed o Clarification on research discussion student puts on application o Two interviewers are assigned to one student Please contact me if you are willing to do a mock intervew during the scheduled times listed below.
