Subject: TIME to get involved with MT4!
Hi everyone,
We hope you are doing well!
As most of you know, TIME 2000 students run a club called “Today’s Tutors, Tomorrow’s Math Teachers” (MT4). MT4 provides TIME students with the opportunity to earn experience in teaching that we can then apply to our studies and future
teaching positions both in terms of helping students and talking to parents.
The MT4 tutoring club will be holding elections for new officers at the upcoming April seminar. There are 4 positions that need to be filled: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
The president will make sure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently, this job is also shared by the vice president and the secretary. The treasurer will keep track of how much money the club has raised during the fundraisers
that might be held. As for the jobs that are shared, you will all be in charge of contacting parents, updating a spreadsheet with parents who are looking for a tutor, and sending out weekly emails with jobs to tutors. The person who oversees the sheet will
change on a weekly basis. This is a wonderful opportunity and a great thing to add to your resume!
