Dear Math Ed Students, I hope you are well and that the Fall 2022 semester has started smoothly for you. As many of you may have questions about certification to teach mathematics, a meeting with members of the QC Certification Office has been arranged for mathematics education students. Amy Lui<mailto:amy.lui@qc.cuny.edu>, Director of Teacher Certification, and Jean Wittig<mailto:jean.wittig@qc.cuny.edu>, Certification Officer & Office Manager, will discuss the process to become certified to teach mathematics in New York State through Queens College. The meeting will be held in person on Tuesday, September 13, 10:15am, in the President's and Q-Side Lounges which are part of the Dining Hall/Cafeteria Building. The lounges are at the end of the building closest to Kissena Blvd in the rooms closest to the entrance - before the Patio Room. Please prepare questions about certification beforehand to make the best use of time during the meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting, please note that the presentation files will be shared and that the Certification Officers can be contacted with any questions. Sincerely, Mrs. Weinman Naomi Weinman TIME2000/SEYS Queens College, CUNY | 65-30 Kissena Blvd | Queens, NY |11367 (w) 718-997-5377 | (f) 718-997-5173 time2000.qc.cuny.edu<https://www.qc.cuny.edu/Academics/Honors/Time2000/Pages/default.aspx> | Donate to TIME 2000<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__bit.ly_time2000&d=DwIFAg... >
