An email was sent to students on Sunday informing them about employment opportunities with the NYS COVID-19 Contract Tracer Initiative. The initiative is now recruiting 6,400 to 17,000 tracers to work as Contact Tracers, Team Supervisors, and Community Support Specialists. 

Queens College students from any discipline may be eligible for the Contact Tracer position (which is a minimum of 20 hours/week), while health and human services students may meet the qualifications for the Supervisor or Support Specialist roles. See Sunday's email to students.

If you know any students who are seeking employment, I urge you to share this information with them. CUNY has indicated that salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications. Students should be aware that the job will be done from home and that all contact is virtual. In this very difficult job market, this opportunity could be a lifeline for some of our students.
