Dear TIME 2000 Students,

Happy new year!

Please make sure to read the email below and meet the deadlines so that your spring classes will not be dropped.  If you are dropped from a full class then someone from the waiting list could get your spot and then you will lose your seat.

Note that tomorrow, Friday, January 14, is the last day for day for unvaccinated students to receive the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine in order to meet the CUNY vaccination deadline for the Spring 2022 semester.

Stay well,

Mrs. Weinman

From Jennifer Jarvis, Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management:

--

For the Spring 2022 semester, the vast majority of CUNY courses will be in-person. Students taking in-person or hybrid courses must be fully vaccinated when classes begin, meaning unvaccinated students will be withdrawn before classes.

Any enrolled student who has not uploaded proof of vaccination documents to CUNYfirst by January 18 will be deregistered from in-person and hybrid classes for non-compliance with the vaccination mandate. If a student subsequently uploads proof, they may register for courses up to the end of the add/drop period on February 3. Please note: Registration into the same class from which a student was dropped is not guaranteed.

Tomorrow, Friday, January 14 is the last day for day for unvaccinated students to receive the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine in order to meet the CUNY vaccination deadline for the Spring 2022 semester.

New York State has mandated booster shots for all CUNY students. You should receive your booster shot as soon as you are eligible. You may upload your booster shot information to CUNYfirst now. Submission deadlines for uploading proof of you booster shot will be provided during the semester. At this time, you do not need to upload your booster information in order to participate in Spring 2022 classes.

Please note:

·    If your vaccination documents are already approved in CUNYfirst, you do not need to re-submit them.

·    If you are fully vaccinated but have not uploaded proof in CUNYfirst because all of your classes are currently remote, don’t wait! Do it today and you’ll be ready to visit campus or take an in-person class.

·    All students (except those with approved exemptions or exceptions) must be fully vaccinated in order to enter any CUNY facility.

I hope you are enjoying winter break. Best of luck in the Spring 2022 semester.
