[Time2000_t20 0024] Volunteers needed at MATHCOUNTS event
Dear TIME 2000 Friends and Family, Happy new year! I hope you are safe and warm during the snow storm. The Manhattan chapter of MATHCOUNTS is in need of volunteers on Feb. 3. Some of you may have participated in MATHCOUNTS competitions during middle school. MATHCOUNTS promotes enthusiasm for and achievement in math among middle school students. The Manhattan chapter is run by niece Eve. volunteers are needed to grade the morning exams and are then invited to stay for the keynote speaker and the very exciting lightning round competition. Breakfast and lunch are provided. If you are interested, please contact Eve as per below. Sincerely, Naomi Weinman SEYS/TIME 2000 Queens College, CUNY 718-997-5377 Dear MATHCOUNTS Volunteers, MATHCOUNTS Manhattan 2018 will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at Baruch Performing Arts Center (17 Lexington Ave<https://maps.google.com/?q=17+Lexington+Ave&entry=gmail&source=g>). Most volunteers will be needed to help grade the contests from around 9:15am until noon. Breakfast, lunch, and a t-shirt will be provided. Some volunteers are also needed to help set up the afternoon/early evening beforehand (Friday, Feb 2nd), and to assist as the students are arriving on Saturday starting at 7:30am. Let me know if you are available to help! In order to make sure we are not understaffed, please remember to keep me posted if your plans change.
