Dear TIME 2000 Students, Thank you, in advance, for helping with the TIME 2000 conference on Friday. To help things run smoothly, please read updated information below and attend the meetings appropriate for you. 1. Monday, October 29 STUDENT PANEL meeting, 12:40pm, PH 117 2. Monday, October 29 TECHNOLOGY meeting, 1pm, PH 117. This meeting is open to all students but must be attended by presenter escorts and students assigned to equipment and/or calculators. Media services will provide instructions on how to make sure the laptops are connected to the projectors correctly and how to use other equipment in the room. It is good to know how to do this in case a presenter has a problem with the technology. FRESHMAN should join us as soon as they arrive to campus after LAMS. 3. Thursday, November 1 HELP MOVE TO THE SU, 1:30pm, PH 002. A QC truck will meet us at PH at 1:30. If you are available, please help move the prepared conference items (boxes of folders and other supplies) from the office to the truck and then meet us in front of the SU to move items off the truck into the SU. This usually takes no more than half an hour. 4. Friday, November 2 CONFERENCE DAY! All students should meet in the SU 4th floor lobby and arrive by 8am. If you are there earlier, please help us set up the materials that were delivered on Thursday. This involves taping signs to tables and moving the folder boxes to the correct areas. Ask Alyssa, Christian or Mrs. Weinman what you can do to help. REMEMBER to wear your TIME 2000 blue tee shirts (perhaps over a long sleeve shirt if it will be cold) and a smile.
